Frequently asked questions
How do I get started with SHFT?+
Download SHFT from the App Store, create an account, and answer a few quick questions about your training goals, schedule, and experience. SHFT will build your personalised programme in under a minute. From there, just open the app each day and follow your session.
What does the subscription include?+
A SHFT subscription unlocks full access to personalised programme generation, automatic weight progression, periodised phases, the SHFT Coach, running plans, communities, and all premium features. You can choose monthly, annual, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, find SHFT in the list, and tap Cancel Subscription. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I request a refund?+
Apple handles all refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your SHFT purchase, and request a refund. If you have trouble, email us and we can help point you in the right direction.
Can I use SHFT without a subscription?+
You can sign up, explore the app, and see how SHFT builds your plan. Full access to workouts, progression, and premium features requires an active subscription or lifetime purchase.
Does SHFT sync with Apple Health?+
Yes. SHFT connects to Apple Health to read your running data and write your workout sessions back so your activity stays in one place. You can manage Health permissions in the Settings app on your iPhone under Privacy & Security > Health > SHFT.
How do I reset my password?+
On the sign-in screen in the app, tap "Forgot password" and enter your email. You will receive a reset link. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or email us for help.
I found a bug. How do I report it?+
Use the feedback form linked below to report bugs, request features, or share general feedback. Include as much detail as possible (what you were doing, what happened, and your device model) so we can fix it quickly.
How do I delete my account?+
Open the app, go to your profile, tap Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our systems. If you cannot access the app, email support and we will handle it for you.
Is my data private?+
Yes. SHFT only collects what is needed to personalise your training and never sells your data to third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
